Welcome to the PTFA section!
A letter from the PTFA
We can’t believe we’re already into the next half term, Christmas is just around the corner and with that comes a few events….
- Movie Night – 20th November
- Christmas Fair – 7th December
- Christmas Disco – 12th December
We also have the trip to York coming up on November 24h. Its an absolute bargain at just £10 for your travel. Any shopping you need to do can be done whilst having lunch with friends and maybe even a mulled wine! So please come along and invite a friend or two. Whilst we’re on the topic of shopping I’d like to remind you about….
Our easy fundraising page. Its a free app to download or website to visit with links to over 3,300 of your favourite online stores where you can shop for all your Christmas presents and raise money for St Augustines at the same time.
Please head over to…
Search you mobile app store for “Easy Fundraising”
NEXT search for “St Augustines School – Coulby Newham”
And get shopping whilst raising funds for our school.
As I’m sure you are aware, so much time, passion and hard work is put into the running of our school and as your PTFA we are trying to provide this amazing school and your wonderful children with the best we can.
Last year the PTFA paid for:
- Poetry workshops by Harry Man
- Year 6 Leavers Hoodies
- New Nursery Furniture
- Subsidising school trips
- Donations to residential trips
- Nursery library
But there is still so much to be done, and this year we will be concentrating on raising funds for new library books and a new playground for nursery and reception.
We really want to thank you for all your support in these ventures, I know how busy life can be but these events really do contribute to the amazing experience our children are getting at St Augustines. If you are a patron with your own business and would be happy to donate a prize for the tombola/raffle that would be wonderful. And of course any one off contributions/ donations would always be greatly appreciated. We honestly cannot do this without you so thanks ever so much everyone.
