Remembrance

Year 2 remembered the soldiers that died in the Wars by walking around the playground for 1 mile and then praying for them in the Prayer garden and then the chapel.

We wrote poems about World War One after we read the poem, Flanders Fields by John McCrae.

Mrs Swash told us about her father who fought in World War One. She showed us his service medals and the “dog tags” he wore so he could be identified.
