Year 4 had a fantastic start to sports week, spending the day learning about their country, Germany. 🇩🇪 They made paper cones called ‘Schultüten’ that are given to German children when they begin school, had an introductory lesson to the German sport, handball and indulged in German food! 🥨 🍏 🍞

Nursery have had a fun day to launch Sports Week today learning all about Spain 🇪🇸 We have explored Spanish culture, made flags, fans and visited our very own Spanish café for tapas at snack time. We practised playing castanets and had lots of fun learning some energetic flamenco dancing moves! 💃🏻🎶
