Thank you to everyone who contributed to our appeal on behalf of the asylum seekers in Middlesbrough. As you can see we collected a great amount of goods. The goods have now been delivered to the John Paul Centre in Middlesbrough where they will be distributed to those in need. Thanks again for you kindness and generosity.

CAUSE Hamper

This year, our school community has once again shown incredible generosity and kindness through our Cause Hampers Collection. Together, we have gathered a wonderful range of food items, treats, and essential supplies to support local families who may be facing difficulties.

Every donation—big or small—has helped us create hampers filled not only with practical items, but also with hope, warmth, and care. These hampers will be shared with families in our community to ensure they feel supported and remembered, especially during the times when it matters most.

We are deeply grateful to all our children, families, and staff who contributed so thoughtfully. Your kindness truly makes a difference and reflects the heart of our school: helping others, living out our values, and spreading compassion wherever we can.

Thank you for making our Cause Hampers initiative such a success once again.

Altar Amigos

We are incredibly proud of our altar boys who have shown such kindness, commitment, and courage in serving both our parish and our wider community.

This year, they took on the Middlesbrough 10k, running with determination to raise money for The Upper Room, a local charity supporting those in need. Their fundraising efforts have helped provide meals, support, and comfort to vulnerable people in our area.

But their generosity doesn’t stop there. Throughout the year, the boys have also given their time to make sandwiches for the charity, offering practical help and a caring hand where it is needed most.

At Christmas, they thoughtfully organised a selection box collection, bringing joy to children and families who may otherwise have gone without during the festive season.

SeaFarers Mission

This term, our school has proudly supported the important work of the Seafarers Mission by collecting donations to help those who spend long periods away from home, often in challenging and lonely conditions.

We invited our families to contribute essential items, treats, and small comforts that remind seafarers they are valued and not forgotten. Thanks to the generosity of our school community, we have been able to put together thoughtful care packages that will be shared with crew members arriving in our local ports.

Care Home Visit

Our Chaplaincy Team and Mini Vinnies recently had a wonderful opportunity to visit the local care home and spend time with its residents. The children brought smiles, laughter, and companionship, brightening the day for everyone they met.

They shared stories, sang songs, and engaged in friendly conversation, showing care, kindness, and respect for the older members of our community. These special moments helped the children understand the importance of empathy, friendship, and reaching out to others in meaningful ways.
