At St. Augustine’s, we understand the upset that bullying can cause. We also know that there are different forms of bullying.

The children in classes from Year 3 to Year 6 voted for the children they would like to be anti-bullying Ambassadors.

We are proud to show you our Ambassadors from Year 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Some of the children have come to us already with ideas for posters and badges.

We can not wait to show you our future work.

Anti-Bullying Week this year took place from Monday 11th to Friday 15th November starting with Odd Socks Day on the Monday.

Our ambassadors created  posters to tell the children in school about Odd Sock Day. In addition, they held their own assembly for the rest of the school.

During Parliament week,  our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors voted for their badge. Each child created a badge at home and we chose one we would like. The badges were creative and it was hard to choose. We decided to merge two of the ideas together. These are the options we could have had. We can not wait to show you the one we have created!

Our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors decided that want to make it clear who they are and what they do. They asked for some hi-vis jackets so they can easily be found on the playground. In addition, they got some official badges whilst they are waiting for their chosen decide to be made. Next, the children will receive a play-pack they can use to encourage and guide their peers in playing nicely together.
