Homework KS2 Expectations and Help

Homework is set every Friday and is to be completed by the following Friday. Our homework is set on the secure, online portal of Emile which can be accessed here.  Your child should have a log in containing their details to access Emile. If they have misplaced it, please let me know and I will send a replacement.

The tasks set will be marked as important on their Emile task page. Once these tasks are completed, the children can explore the other games and amend their character.
It will include:

  •         Spelling task
  •         Maths task
  •         Grammar/Punctuation task
  •         MTC practice

Our homework will concentrate on building confidence and extending ability across key curriculum areas. Most of the time homework will be set on Emile but other homework may be set as an alternative when we learn certain topics. This information will be communicated through Marvellous me and Arbor. If you require a paper alternative for homework, please let me know.

We would also like the children to continue practising their times tables through Emile as well as their home reading.

On occasion, there may be additional homework provided through our Google Classroom.   All children have login details – for help with Google Classroom, please click here
